Prepare the tooth surface
Remove shipping coatings, old incompatible lubricant, debris, and hardened deposits using an approved method. Inspect contact pattern and damage before applying the running-in lubricant.
Control running-in
Apply a controlled film, verify spray pattern and slowly increase load according to equipment guidance. The objective is improved contact, not masking alignment or surface defects.
Inspect the operating film
Monitor coverage, root and flank condition, contamination, temperature, vibration, nozzle condition, and lubricant consumption. Correct spray faults before increasing quantity.
